Autumn's Turn by windfalcon

Originally this was meant to be a double-stone watercolor, but after I'd painted it, I found that the stones I was going to use didn't match very well, so now it's just a regular watercolor painting.

Here we see Summer not wanting to give up her leaf to Autumn, who is quite ready for her turn to change the leaves to pretty colors. But Summer never wants to leave, and so she and Autumn fight back and forth, which is why in the fall some days are chilly and some days are hot. Finally in the end, since Autumn is the older sister, she gives Summer a firm peck on head and bounces away with her rightful leaf.

Several working titles that were going through my head:

Seasons Fight
Turn of Seasons
Sibling Rivalry
Gimme!
MOOOOOOM.
Big Puffy Season Birdies.

I eventually settled on "Autumn's Turn" since it has a nice double meaning. :3
