Since I've received the official go-ahead to announce the project I've been working on, here it is! My first book, titled "Winged Fantasy: Draw and Paint Magical and Mythical Creatures" will be available in July through IMPACT books!
This is the big project I was working on from the summer into autumn, that I couldn't quite say anything about until now :D Here are a few sneak peeks at the art that will be inside the book:
In this book, I show how to paint winged fantasy creatures, including dragons, pegasi, gryphons, hippogryphs, and various fantasy winged animals. Though watercolor is the main medium, there are sections in the front to tell you how to include other media, such as colored pencil, ink and graphite. It will be available nationwide in bookstores and in art and craft stores that sell art instructional books, as well as online on sites such as Amazon.
I'll make more announcements as the release date approaches, and perhaps post some more sneak peeks!

Life and Art Update!
Sorry if I've been sort of missing from DA. I've been working on a lot of art but some of it is for big commissions and it's taking me a while to complete. I've also started teaching part time illustration courses at a nearby art school!
I've updated my art show/convention list at the top of the page. I'm not doing as many this year, mainly to get caught up on projects and also it's becoming harder (financially) to be able to travel to conventions. I still plan on always doing Anthrocon and Dragoncon, though! And since Denfur is local, I'll be a dealer there.
