My apologies for the ENORMOUS file, however since DA somehow doesn't seem to allow you to add a preview image anymore, I had to settle with the...3000-pixel long image. Also, I had no idea what category to put this in, so since most of it is traditional work, I put it in traditional. I'll be putting this in scraps after a few days.
You've probably seen these a hundred times before. This is a collection of my art, from 2000 to 2008 showing the progression of my work. I decided to start with 2000 for two reasons. 1) All the sketchbooks with pre-2000 art are in storage at the moment, and 2) they're far too terrible to show to anyone.
Shown here are the pieces I'm most happy with from each year. As you can see, things started off a bit...rocky. But I hope, if nothing else, this encourages other artists to simply keep practicing, and shows that no one starts off at the level they are now.
I've always wanted to make one of these things, but I feel like the level of improvement over time wouldn't really be very interesting, and at some points I even feel like I've regressed.
Your jump in skill from '03 to '04 is pretty amazing.

Beautiful work, and this is a great way to really look at how far you've come. I looked at some of my older work, and it almost seems reverse. I end up wondering how I did those past pieces, and somehow haven't done any like them lately. I'll be attempting to change that though.
You're being quite revelatory here, which is a Good Thing, but nonetheless much too hard on yourself. I hope you'll upload some of your older works, even if only to Scraps. (We're fortunate to have some of them available on your Elfwood page, such as "Valkyrie.")
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Abi-Hime, my love forever. Your wounds are my wounds, your pain is my pain.
Kaguya-Hime, I shall never forsake you again like I have before. I will always remember your name forever. We shall all stay close.
