The sky moved quietly with rainclouds. Falcon rest her elbow against the edge of the marble balcony, the hilt of her dagger resting on her chin. Moonshadow flew down from an unnoticable point in the heavens, and landed on her shoulder. She was the only source of comfort.
This attack...would be their last chance. It was near impossible to win, she knew. However, there was one thing she would never do, and that was to be chained without a fight...
oh wow! It's finished!! I loooove that background! It almost seems like there's a soft mist to it. EEEE I'm sooo proud^^ And that falcon...maaah! How did you get the feathers in the wing looking so realistic? I can really tell you got the hang of the shading as you went along. It all looks so awesome! The wings, the hair, those trees beyond the balcony, and those awesome little details in the vines.
Wonderful!
Hmm..I'm only wondering about a couple of things. One thing that catches my eye is the falcon landing on her shoulder with it's bare talons. Wouldn't that hurt her shoulder...or is her Saiyan skin tough enough to withstand the pressure from the talons? And secondly, if it's planet Vegeta..wouldn't the sky be red? Those don't much matter though..just teeny tiny knitpicks^^ The picture itself is too lovely so those don't matter. Great job, mi'darlin. I look forward to seeing more color pencil stuff from you

I was going to make the falcon's talons more clenching, but then I decided to have her standing 'gently' on her shoulder, as to not hurt her. Those talons definitely would cut into the skin XD regardless of how tough a saiya-jin's skin is.
I was thinking of the red-sky aspect too, but with rainclouds, I thought it would probably still be gray. Maybe I should have made it a bit purple, though
oooh I see about the talons now. They dont seem too clenched...very cool. No worries about the sky...it looks so awesome as is that it doesn't really matter if it's red or not^^

Yippee!! I've been waiting to see the finished product on this one! (Seeing all the scraps made me eager)
I can't believe all of the detail on that falcon @_@ this must have taken a long time.
Yay for pic conclusion!! X3 I love the colors that you've done here, s'well as watching them emerge from the pic with the various WIPs...I love the skintones and again the detail that you put into the falcon Moonshadow, as well as his expression. Fiercely adorable, yo. ^^ Falcon's expression is great too, very contemplative and determined-looking. I like your little story-excerpt. I think that where Falcon's hair falls down behind her neck seems a little off (kinda thin; it makes her neck look oddly thin and I thought she had long hair?), but I love the way that you did it in general, very fine and toned. Great background too...ahh, the endless trees. *just took ten mile hike...and still hurts. ><;;*
Yeah X_X The reason it looks slightly green behind her neck where her hair is is because my scanner's a piece of crap, and randomly puts discolored bands in my work. But, I do have to fix it, since I now see that I forgot to continue her hair @_@
Stunning work! I absolutely love it, the textures are so rich and I love the mood of it. The falcon's feathers are so lovely to look at and I absolutely love Falcon's expression. I love the thoughtful tone of the picture, and you've really accentuated it both in her position and the color of the sky and the area around them. It looks like normally it would be a rather pleasant place, but today it has a darker tone.
