...and apparently Mr. Titmouse is less than pleased at this sudden discovery.

This probably doesn't make much sense unless you understand the hilarious comment that spurred this idea. And as a disclaimer - yes, I know the plural of 'titmouse' is 'titmice,' and that titmice do indeed have tails.

A little something to cheer =mistressofspam up. She's the one who got the amusing comment, and she's been dooing oodles of adorable titmouse gryphons. The style of this one was inspired by her digital titmouse gryph drawings.

I had fun whipping this together in a few hours in Photoshop. :D Titmice are so cute.

Very well done. The expression and body language are great. I also love the colours.

Did I get this right, someone saw a titmouse gryhon by misstressofspam and, probably confused by the whole gryphon concept, commented that titmice didn't have tails? That's too funny! :D

Yep, that's pretty much it. :D The person was referring to the long, twisty mouse-tail the gryphon had, but it sounded like they were saying titmice had no tails of any kind.
