Swirling Phoenix - Leather Pendant by windfalcon Swirling Phoenix - Leather Pendant by windfalcon
This was my first attempt at a leather-feather based pendant, though it didn't quite fit the purpose I made it for (as a show piece at DragonCon), I really do quite like it :) It works well as a choker or as a necklace that sits lower down. It has an adjustable chain with a clasp, so you can wear it however you like.

It's made from 4 oz. leather and painted with acrylics. The feather pieces are held together by a super strong adhesive that I use to attach things to my masks. It features stone and metal beads and goldtone wire.

I really need to get one of those necklace 'dummies' I see all over the place to take photos! I took a few of me wearing it but none of them really looked right :\

Since I'm still severely low on funds, I'm putting this up here before DragonCon. Otherwise, I'll be bringing it with me to sell at my table! If you're interested, it's here in my Etsy shop - [link]

It is beautiful! I really like it! It's so different from traditional jewelry.

Wow, this is beautiful! I would love to wear it, if only I could afford it. I would love to see more of these, it is so unique!

Great! Now I can scam on hippie health food chicks at the farmer's market. And if that fails I can always learn a Jefferson Airplane song on acoustic guitar.
