This is a minipainting commission for Ookamiichi08 on FA, who requested this epic bird battle be illustrated. At first I figured the cassowary would win, hands down, due to the fact that when it kicks, it can easily disembowel humans with its 5-inch-long blade-like claw, but then I thought maybe with its smaller size, the secretary bird might be able to throw some dirty moves, like talons right to the face.
