The Red-Crested Gosfox Gryphon, usually known by local people simply as the 'gosfox,' is a medium-sized gryphon whose habitat is primarily dense woodlands. These gryphons are extremely quick, whose short wings allow them agility when darting through the trees after their prey.

Take caution when walking near trees where they nest, for these creatures can be extremely aggressive. Otherwise, they normally are quite elusive, and are seen only rarely.

Acrylic on canvas, 8X10 inches. Northern goshawk and red fox.

Love the idea. I drew a gos/arctic fox gryph this past summer on a prompt from a fellow falconer.
I adore goshawks, they are such smashing and handsome hawks!

They really do! I have only been able to meet a very few number of goshawks, but they have been very great birds!
