Pigeongryph loves his bread. Oh he loves it so much.

Bread <3

Inspired partially by =kdeln by her desire to see a pigeon/rat gryphon, and by =ladydove7, since both she and myself figure if seagulls say "MINE," pigeons say, "bread?"

And there's no real purpose for this other than to make a fun little minipainting to destress.

Watercolor and white gouache on Arches cold-press watercolor paper, 5X7 inches.

Makes me think of one of the Simpsons' Halloween specials, where Bart has a conjoined twin...

Such a horrible thing to call pigeons, seagulls or geese. I've heard all of them called rats with wings. All of them, and rats too, are beautiful creatures just eeking out a living.

I agree though, pigeons would say "bread?"

And pigeon-rat is adorable!

I think pigeons are gorgeous birds. :3 I never call them rats with wings, except in this picture - for the purpose of an obvious pun, of course.

Indeed - from my experience with pigeons, it doesn't have to be bread. They're not too picky.
