Now, in contrast with my other angel, something a little more colorful and playful. This is my fire angel character, Curare. Normally has a bow and a scimitar, but today she's trying her hand at playing with some fire :D She's one of the most fun characters I have. Fun-loving, passionate, and with a great sense of humor, Curare's never a bore.

11" X 15" Watercolor. 15 hours.

Ohhh she came out awesome^^ I love the detail in the wings and the way you've layered the bg especially. The pose and the colors really get her peppy personality across. Only, I feel like there should be some orange highlights in her shirt and some softer ones in the skin to emphasize the light effect of the flame. Other than that, you're really making me look forward to watercolor feathers. *prods at Isa's with a brush*

SHe's such a great foil for Remi. *must draw him in a toga now

Beautiful (as always, heh). I love the gold feathers....such a pretty color! It just POPS out at you. Great job :)
