I'm super excited about the Raptor Weekend Art of Raptors show this weekend :D It is an art show featuring nothing but raptors! So cool! I'll have a bunch of paintings and a mask there, including this little feather painting I did specially for the show.

How do you keep the feathers stuck together so they don't move? And i love the detail! how big are those feathers?

I use an acid-free PVA bookbinding glue that dries clear to glue the two feathers together.  Then I'm careful with the acrylic to keep the feather vane from separating.  These feathers are turkey tail coverts, and are maybe about 8 inches long.
