Not sure why it took me so long to create a pair of peregrine wings! It seems like it should have been the first I made

This is hand-carved out of 7 oz leather with a layer of 2 oz leather on top, and painted with acrylics. The silvertone wire is decorated with various beads.

Normally I don't care to see an image of disembodied wings like this (it makes me think of something sad) but these are so beautifully done, I just had to fave it!
