Moon Twins

The 'sister' piece to Sun Twins. I'd been thinking about doing this for a while, and recently had the time to finish it. Two entwined, feathered dragons.

This is very, very loosely based off the plumage of the Spix's Macaw, one of the most endangered birds in the world. It is thought to be extinct in the wild, with only a few alive in captivity. I was inspired by *Nambroth's Spix's Macaw painted feather to do a piece somehow associated with this bird. It makes me sad when animals are at risk for extinction, and angry when it's due to habitat destruction and pet-trade capture.
