Description

I love ferns. I've always loved ferns. Heaven for me would be a forest of ferns and white birch trees. Add a bit of artist's block, a sketchpad, and a pencil and I come up with...a fern angel?

Well, this it turned into this, which I will be painting with watercolor. It's about 9 X 10 inches on illustration board.

I can't understand how people think ferns are plain or ugly....I think they're simply gorgeous!
