Yet another in my pendant series. The Elf pendant.
As soon as I drew the initial design, I knew this was going to be hell to cut out ~_~ Remind me never, EVER to make a pendant out of something as thin as 24 gauge sterling with this many thin areas. Originally, there was supposed to be second cabochan, dangling from the bottom, but while setting the large stone, I broke the link holding it to the main piece (a bad soldering job on my part), so I just sawed the rest off. To re-solder it would involve removing the stone I just set, so I decided to just keep it this way. No use in possibly ruining the whole thing for a dangling piece.
The vines of the leaves are done by chasing. They didn't come out quite the way I wanted, but I think they give the right impression of oak leaves.
Sterling silver and peridot, and way WAY too much sawing. Ugh...my fingers are so sore... Too...many.... oak leaves.
And the elm leaves are just there for decoration. To make it look pretty.
XD It might have been really difficult, but the detail in it is amazing, just like in your other drawn arts. That stone is really beautiful too, though I'm not sure if that little flicker of bright blue is actually in it or a reflection or something else. Looks very much like tree branches.

I am my own sweet, bitter contradiction...
That blue is probably a reflection combined with the green of the stone. It's a peridot, so it's a translucent, yellow-green stone.
