The birdflower for June, Rose. The rose is a flower strongly associated with love and passion. While there are many colors for the rose, I chose red as it best represents the rose's symbolism.

June's stone is the pearl, which was rather difficult to put in as an eye and feather-stones.

Oh, very very pretty! I like this one. And I've always believed roses are a pain in the rear to draw, so good for you!

Wow, it looks beautiful! I love the detail. Is this going to be a series? All the flowers of each month? that'd be neat =D

The feather pearls look great.
The whole image reminds me of Elizabeth I / Shakespeare, and I don't know why!

The pose looks like it should be awkward, but it isn't- it looks encompassing and graceful. :)
