Next in the Birdflowers series: Daisy, or April. I couldn't decide whether to name this Daisy or Sweet Pea, seeing as how both flowers are April's birthflower. However, due to the drowning about of pink and purple, I couldn't bear myself the further dishonor of naming it something as cutesy as "Sweet Pea." Daisy is bad enough.

And...do you know how hard it is to portray diamonds as eyes? I figure it's a non-faceted blue-tinted diamond. So there. And sweet peas...what do they look like? Every picture I looked up of them show them as...different. I have no idea what form they have. So...those flowers growing from the branches are supposed to be sweet peas. Use your imagination. ;P

When i've thought of daisies in the past I've thought white but I forgot about the magenta/purple near the centre in wild field dasies. I don't care, I love how rich the colour is in this and again how the pale background brings out the bird. What else can I say? It's stunning.

I love your series of Birdflowers. ^^
When I saw this I just had to favorite, for it's so beautifully detailed. Well, perhaps a bit too sweet for my taste, but worth a fav! :D And of course, because April's my month. =P

I hated being born in april because i hate diamonds!

I really love the rich colours onthe bird, and especially in the sky!
