EDIT: After pulling out the original of this painting to get it ready for a show, I noticed a few things I wanted to fix. A 'few things' turned into a lot of things, and so here is a reworked version of the painting. I changed some color, shading, and anatomy. For a dragon or demon, there is nothing quite as terrifying as a gryphon diving upon you from the sky...except perhaps if there is a Rider upon its back with her spear aimed for your skull. Watercolor and colored pencil on illustration board, 8 X 13 inches |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
