Some of you may remember my first design for a barn owl mask. I decided to try remaking it, but with a smaller head. I like this smaller version a bit better. This mask is hand-carved and shaped from 7 oz leather, and painted with acrylics.

Your bird masks and leather feathers make me weep... because I doubt I will ever be this good at realistic painting. :) Absolutely gorgeous!

I love your barn owl masks. My favorite part is the fuzzy feathers at the top of the beak. You do a really great job at making it look realistic. :D
