Autumn is the best time of year and anyone who tries to tell you otherwise has never lived in New England. The smells, the change in color not just in the trees but in the light itself, the way pumpkin and apple treats suddenly appear everywhere, and most of all, the fact that it finally starts getting COLD again, makes autumn my favorite time of year.

Here's my gryphon character in her favorite spot under an autumn tree, piecing together some pretty trinket from found things in the forest. And oops, it looks like I gave her ears by mistake. Whatever, she can grow ears if she wants. Yeah. >.>

I've always loved your trees, the little knots in it gives the picture a sense of life. The picture has just the right mood for autumn.

Watercolors and trees are two things I find to be very difficult character, especially at the same time, and you've accomplished both along with a highly detailed character. This piece is just so simple and so beautiful.

Caught my eyes, the textures and effects are really gorgeous especially the tree trunk and the leaves. I'd say keep the ears :D Did you leave out the background so that the subjects are more focused?
