A trade/gift with *Zephyri - her elvish assassin, Vaya. She may seem up to wicked things with that hidden dagger, or she may simply be offering you a glass of fine elvish wine. Be careful, however; the true danger may lie not in steel, but in the glass...
I couldn't help but think, as I was coloring those rolling hills, that this could be some sort of Italian wine advertisement gone terribly wrong. "Luna Gialla wine: Drink it...or die."
What started out as a simple character drawing turned into, "oh...an archway would be nice." So of course, you can't draw an archway without pillars. Pillars turned into fluted columns, which turned into...some horrible bastard love child of Corinthian and...something else, all of which spiraled out of control into barrel vaults, a decorated floor, and a sunset.
*takes a breath* And there you have it: a prime example of me going overboard and displaying my true insanity.
The pillars in this have always kind of bothered me. The vanishing point is actually right in the upper/center of that middle pillar, but I think there's a problem with the arches, which is what's making it look strange.
I'm getting a bit of advanced perspective training in my illustration class now, so hopefully I'll learn how to avoid mistakes like this in the future.
Ooh, I liked the wine advertisement thing! You know, that actually might work... *runs off to plot*
*runs back* Loved the drawing too! *is jealous of you*
Lovely stuff, anyways.
